We play hard at Explorer Preschool: Digging ditches, balancing on logs, painting masterpieces, serving tea, and sending trains to far off lands.
Through that play, we learn how our bodies move, what happens when the blocks get stacked, how a pumpkin decomposes, what colors make purple, and how many ways you can count to 21.
Through daily interactions in the classroom, parent education classes, and collaboration with other parents, caregivers are given the platform to advance their skills just as much as their kids.
Located in the wonderful Willow Glen community of San Jose, Explorer is a magical haven where children, parents, and teachers have thrived in a supportive and enriching environment for over 60 years.
Our NAEYC-accredited program includes classes for children ages 12 months to pre-kindergarten taught by experienced and credentialed teachers in a diverse, educational, and welcoming atmosphere. Explorer Preschool is a non-sectarian non-profit organization and admits students of any race, color, gender, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
